Sormery is located between the Champagne and Bourgogne regions, halfway between Troyes and Auxerre, 10 miles from Saint Florentin and Aix-en-Othe.

The pays d'Othe area can be reached with highway A5 at the Sens, Villeneuve-l'Archevêque and Troyes-Ouest exits, with highway A6 at the Joigny and Auxerre-Nord exits and roads N6, N60 and N77 that crisscross the area.

By car

From Paris (100 miles)

Follow the A4/E50, the A104/E54 then the A5/E54 toward Troyes / Lyon

Exit the highway (exit 19, Vulaines) and turn left on D660 toward Troyes until you reach Vulaines. At Vulaines, turn right toward St Florentin.

Once past Rigny le Ferron, follow the signs Boeurs-en-Othe then Sormery

There are 19 miles between exit 19 and Sormery.

From Troyes (26 miles)

Follow N77 toward Auxerre.

At Neuvy Sautour, turn right at the entrance of the village, toward Sormery (beware! The roadsign is not visible).

From Dijon or Lyon, through Auxerre

Follow N77 toward Troyes.

At Neuvy Sautour, turn left at the exit of the village, toward Sormery.

By train

Saint Florentin / Vergigny station (89600) at 12 miles, the closest.

La Roche Migenne station (89400) at 21 miles.
